If you get an iPad, make sure to buy a protective case for it. Compared to the iPhone, Apple’s latest tech toy is more prone to easy damage.

CrunchPad, sounds yummy

I really like the sound of Mike Arrington’s CrunchPad. An web only device that dose not need an OS to run. This divice will be a good test of cloud computing. On a long flight with your mifi and CrunchPad, you’re all set. Hulu, google (email and docs) and box.net or mobleMe and may forget that you’re not running a full OS on a tablet pc.

TweetDeck and the iPhone

Updated to the new Tweetdeck which now lets you sync to the iPhone version of TweetDeck. Very cool but I forgot to update my twitter username (I changed it) on my computer before upgrading so I lost the groups I had already made in previous versions of TweetDeck. I did little snooping around and I found the old tweetdeck db file in library/pref/tweetdeck so I just renamed it to my new username and problem solved.

I don’t know about you but I’ve always wanted to go on safari but have never gotten the opportunity. Well now you can go on a live safari with the help of www.wildearth.tv and your computer. They stream live video daily from the Dejuma Game Reserve in South Africa. Amazing quality video feed directly from a jeep in the field. Today they came across leopard family, a mom and her cubs in a tree. It was just an amazing site, live from the other side of the world.
